Teaching Number Order

Kindergartners practice ordering numbers forward and backward to become more comfortable with how numbers relate to one another. Below are some activities to help children practice ordering numbers in a variety of ways. Once your child is comfortable with these numbers, they can move on to larger numbers to increase their math readiness.

Bees And Honey – Click the objects to count in number order.

Count The Dots Art – Connect the dots to create pictures.

Connect The Dots – Connect numbers 1-23 in correct order to discover the hidden picture.

Connect The Dots – Connect numbers 1-50 or skip counting by 2s.

Counting Up – What is the next number? Kids click on the number that comes next, while counting up.

Counting Down -What is the next number if counting down?

Fill In The Missing Number – Fill in the missing number from one to ten.

Numerical Order – Click and drag the numerals in correct order to help the monkey get bananas.

Order The Numbers – Put hats in numerical order.

Ordering Numbers – Drag numbers in the correct order.

Ordering Numbers – A lesson and practice on placing numbers in numerical order.

Ordering Numbers Game – Put the hats in the correct order.

Ordering Numbers – Pop the balloons in the correct order.
