It always seems to be midwinter when I try to channel my “Inner Recipe Goddess.” You know the gal that can whip up a gourmet dish the family will love in minutes out of practically nothing? Wow to be her would be awesome. The problem I always run into is that of the “Picky Eaters Syndrome”variety, so I have learned over the years to adapt my new recipes to fit my clan. This delicious discovery happened on a night where we were all craving take out but couldn’t quite fit it into our busy schedule. As I served it up I have to admit I was nervous. To my amazement from daddy to the youngest I received an A+++. We will so be fixing this again. Yum!

1 1/2 cups brown sugar

1 to 3 teaspoons crushed red pepper (personal spice preference)
salt and pepper to taste
3 14 oz bags frozen stir fry vegetables of choice (we used Peking stir fry blend)

Serve over cooked white rice
