Kindergarten Comparing Numbers Activities

If you really think about it, this basic skill is a very important building block to your child’s math journey. We compare just about everything in our daily lives these days. I love any excuse to find new ways to teach new skills at our house. I also love to combine both hands on activities with online practice to keep the lessons fun.

Check out the online and fun comparing numbers games for teaching kids basic math place value and numbers concepts that we have come across.
Balloon Pop – Choose if the number is greater than, equal to, or less than the other number.
Compare Numbers Game – Select the correct sign.
Compare Numbers to 10 – Compare the numbers to see which one is bigger or smaller or equal.
Comparing Number Values –  Practice greater than, less than and equal drills.
Dive for Treasure – Help the diver find the treasure by guessing which number is greater.
Few or Many – Click the object that has few or many.
More, Less, or the Same – Count the objects on each side and decide if they are more, less or the same.
