Kindergarten Addition Activities

Math begins with counting. It’s an important skill that we learn in our early years, and it becomes the foundation for all math concepts in the future. Hands on math activities help to create a love for math in your child by making learning fun.

After you have introduced your child to the beginning concepts of early addition it is time to add some tech time to their practice. Check back as we continue to add sites to our list as we discover them online.

Ambleweb Addition Machine – Choose a skill level, type the answer, and then check for correctness.

Beginning Addition – Drag the objects to create the problems and then count and click on the correct answer.

Beginning Addition – Bugabaloo Shoes – Determine how many shoes each bug has by adding up the pairs.

Fishing Addition – Catch the fish that equals the sum of the two numbers.

Math Baseball – Complete the Number Sentence. [Numbers less than 10]

Sum Fun – Practice addition facts to 18.
