Homemade Crabmeat Rangoon

Family life is crazy busy  so anytime I can lessen the running and please the villagers I try. We love Rangoon, it practically makes or breaks a Chinese meal for us. I have to admit I was so nervous to try a baked version idea but I am so glad because there were hardly any left overs. Please feel free to adapt it to your family but here is what I threw together for our first trial of a take out fave.

Ingredients ( Serves a family of 6 to 8)

2 Garlic Cloves, Minced Garlic

2 8 oz Cream Cheese

8 oz Crab meat (shred up or cut thinly)

2 green onions, thinly sliced

4 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

1 tsp Soy Sauce

48 Wonton Wrappers (I found ours in the produce section)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.

It worked best to have a small bowl of water off to the side to dip my fingers into to moisten the wonton edges as I filled each of them. Pinch the edges together to form the desired shape and lay them on a cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes. Depending on your oven you may want to increase or decrease time. Bake until golden brown.

Now accept the praise and enjoy!
